Act 77 has mandated the use of personalized learning plans combined with proficiency-based learning and graduation requirements in Vermont. Yet, the process for implementation is individual to every school district. What can we learn from each others’ journey to PLP & PBGRs? This workshop will revolve around the groups’ responses to the following questions: What systems are in place for students to meet proficiencies outside of the classroom? What does PLP “buy-in” look like for your schools? What have you learned through the implementation of PLPS with middle and high school students, faculty, families, & community? What advice would you give to someone just starting out? How do you ensure that PLPs bridge effectively from middle to high school level?
