We will showcase several Vermont schools who have created interdisciplinary STEAM projects integrating music, science, technology, and literacy. We will examine the role community connections played in the design of individual school projects. Participants will then make their own musical instrument with recycled materials, ending with a discussion about learning outcomes beyond the initial construction.
