Under the heading "FILTER BY TYPE" in the navigation bar, you will see a list of options such as E, EM, EMH, M, H, etc. These indicate the target audience for the session. Some sessions target a range of ages (such as EM or elementary and middle levels) and others are more narrow (such as H or high school level only). Here is the key:
  • P = Pre-K
  • E = Elementary

Podcasts: Increasing Student Engagement

Students used reading, writing, and technology for authentic purposes as they researched colonial topics along with a particular site at the Shelburne Museum. They wrote and created podcasts that taught their peers. Students were completely engaged in learning, seeing the genuine use of technology to gather, organize, and share information. The audio guides were used on a visit to the museum, where other museum patrons asked how to acquire the guides!
