Under the heading "FILTER BY TYPE" in the navigation bar, you will see a list of options such as E, EM, EMH, M, H, etc. These indicate the target audience for the session. Some sessions target a range of ages (such as EM or elementary and middle levels) and others are more narrow (such as H or high school level only). Here is the key:
Introducing This Year's Nominees to Your Students. Vermont's Children's Choice Picture Book Award is now in its 23rd year and this year's list is better than ever! Join us as we present the nominees and give you some concrete ideas to help kickstart your program.
Join members of the Dorothy Canfield Fisher Book Award committee for an introduction to the 2018-2019 list of 30 nominees. Time permitting, we will answer questions about anything related to the books or the selection process.
Preview the 2018-2019 GMBA list with members of the GMBA Committee. You’ll receive next year’s list of nominees and hear booktalks. You’ll also get a chance to talk with individual committee members about incorporating GMBA books into class curricula, promoting the books to students in libraries, and using them to help students connect to various reader communities.
