Under the heading "FILTER BY TYPE" in the navigation bar, you will see a list of options such as E, EM, EMH, M, H, etc. These indicate the target audience for the session. Some sessions target a range of ages (such as EM or elementary and middle levels) and others are more narrow (such as H or high school level only). Here is the key:

Would you like to bolster communication and collaboration in the classroom? Have you been wanting to create a professional web site or have your students create their own sites? Attend this session and learn how to do so with the new Google Sites. Features are intuitive, clean and fully integrated with GSuite for Education. Bring a chromebook or laptop and leave with your site underway!
Learn how to use Google's Learning Management System to create and manage assignments, share links, keep parents informed, and communicate with students. Attendees will be given time and assistance to set up their own Google Classroom. This session is intended for those who are new to or looking to gain confidence with Google Classroom.

"Who needs libraries?" Beneath those three words is an iceberg of challenges, from delivering on-point messaging, gathering compelling statistics, and the need to re-educate key audiences on the value of libraries. Advocacy & Intellectual Freedom Bootcamp urges attendees to re-think advocacy: to re-define the library community and expand the way we have been advocating for libraries. The program will cover advocacy basics such as messaging, networking and community engagement. Attendees will develop actionable steps that they can implement in their library. This is a joint effort of ALA's Office for Library Advocacy and the Office for Intellectual Freedom.
